Our carpet showroom is located in our furniture store on the High Street in Sidmouth, Devon. We stock an extensive collection of wool and synthetic carpets, vinyl flooring, carpet tiles and entrance matting for all budgets and style preferences.

When it comes to carpet, it’s all about the pile, so our extensive range includes a range of options with depths from 9mm to 12mm. Choose from hardwearing and durable twist pile and loop pile, luxury velvet pile, high-performance Axminster weave or deep and soft Saxony pile. Prices start from £10.95 per square metre for synthetic carpet and £22 per square metre for wool carpet, so whatever your budget, you’ll find something to suit.

We also supply the all-important underlay, which adds warmth and comfort to your carpet. We offer Treadaire, a PU foam underlay; Axfelt, a felt and rubber underlay made from recycled materials; and Heatflow, a specialised underlay for underfloor heating.

Ordering Your New Carpet

To find the perfect new flooring for your home, pop into our carpet and flooring showroom in Sidmouth. We’ll help you narrow your selection to the options that best suit your room, family situation, style, and comfort preference. We offer a free local measuring and estimating service (within a 25-mile radius of Sidmouth), so once you’ve chosen your carpet or vinyl flooring, we’ll come to your home and measure up. We can also bring samples, which is helpful when matching carpets to existing furniture and soft furnishings.

Carpet Fitting

To ensure the perfect fit, our in-house and fully trained professional fitting team will fit your new carpets and flooring. The typical time from ordering to fitting is one month, so you won’t have to wait long to enjoy your new flooring.

When we come to fit, we can move furniture items out of and back into the room, if necessary, and we’ll remove and dispose of your existing flooring. If you’d rather fit your new flooring yourself, we also offer supply only for carpet and vinyl.

Which Carpet Will Suit You Best?

Polypropylene synthetic carpets are a good choice for a household with a young family or pets (or both!). Synthetic fibres don’t readily absorb stains, making them easier to clean and maintain. Synthetic carpets come in various colours, patterns, and cost options to suit all personal style preferences and budgets.

A wool or wool and synthetic mix carpet is a good choice for heavy-traffic areas. Wool carpets are highly durable and have an exceptionally long lifespan, often lasting a lifetime. For this reason, wool carpets are more expensive than synthetic carpets, but if budget is a concern, a wool and synthetic mix is a good option.
